By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
HistoryCarto is a mobile-first application that overlays georeferenced historical maps onto live GPS data. The Service is currently in pre-launch. Features, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the beta or any future version of the Service. We reserve the right to grant or deny access at our sole discretion. Waitlist spots are non-transferable.

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Service are owned by or licensed to HistoryCarto. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. Historical map data is subject to its own respective licences and attributions.
If you submit map data, annotations, or other content to the Service, you grant HistoryCarto a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service. You represent that you have the right to grant this licence.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Historical map data is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only — it should not be relied upon for navigation or legal purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HistoryCarto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold HistoryCarto harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify waitlist members of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HistoryCarto is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
